NO FLEA DOG BISCUITS!

These dog biscuits contain brewers yeast, which is a natural flea repellent that also happens to be good for your dog too! Dogs love brewers yeast too! It's probably a good idea to use regular methods for preventing fleas on your animals, but it's also good to supplement their diet with brewers yeast too. My vet once told me that brewers yeast is also good for the dogís coat, so thatís an added benefit. Regardless dogs just love the stuff and you can use it as liberally as you like. You can use whole wheat flour, but you can also use any flour you like as long as you get a rollable dough. You can also substitute beef or chicken stock for the water too if you want. You can buy the powdered brewers yeast in your local health food store, and you should be able to find a big can of it in your natural/health food store too.

You can give your dog the brewers yeast in tablet form as a special treat. They absolutely love the taste too. Brewers yeast has often been called a natural way to repel fleas. Apparently, it is secreted through the dogís skin and fleas donít like the odor thatís emitted. The ingredients you will need for this no flea dog biscuits recipe include oats, powdered brewers yeast, whole wheat flour or any flour you like, egg, water and shredded cheddar cheese. To start this easy recipe preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Next place the brewers yeast, oats, cheese and flour in a large bowl. Then in a separate small bowl, beat the egg, and add it to the flour mixture and stir well. Add only enough water to make a rollable dough. Then roll out the dough to ľ-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface, and now for the fun part cut the dough into desired doggy shapes.

Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and leave biscuits in there until oven is completely cool (this dehydrates them for storage).
